Early in 2008, Anne Smith created JOBsmith. With a strong demand for all sorts of technical people, for both contract and permanent roles, Anne took the plunge and set up her (100%) owned Recruitment company - JOBsmith .  Anne continues in her role of coordinating the companies contracting team and also handles the permanent side.

Anne had already successful established her career in technical and trade recruitment in early 1994 operating as a 'Generalist' Recruiter, but  It didn’t take her long to recognise a gap in recruitment within the local market.  Developing this market for the next 5 years (unassisted), she decided to add value to another well respected company called RLCG who only specialised in the recruitment of mainly 'Degree qualified' Professional Engineers.  So in 1999 and for next 9yrs, Anne was solely responsible for developing a 'Trade & Industrial' Division and the rest is now history.
