I have spent over 21 years in recruitment, insurance, administration, and office management, and if there is one thing I know, it is that finding the right person for the right job is like solving a jigsaw puzzle. Every piece has to fit, and I love the challenge of making that happen. I am also very good at puzzles.
Since 2019, I have been working as a Recruitment Consultant and Office Manager at JOBsmith Recruitment. My role is all about understanding people, their goals, and what makes them tick. Whether they are job seekers looking for their next opportunity or businesses that need their perfect hire. I take a genuine, straight-up approach to recruitment because great matches come from really getting to know both sides. Outside of recruitment, I also keep the office running smoothly, manage payroll, and ensure everything behind the scenes is organised (because if I have learned anything, it is that being organised makes life easier for everyone). Recently, I completed my New Zealand Certificate in Business, finishing in the top 15% of my class (yay me), which has further strengthened my leadership and operational skills. I am also a proud Accredited Professional Member of RCSA (APRCSA), demonstrating my commitment to ethical and high-quality recruitment practices. Outside of work, I have way too many hobbies. I love spending time with my family and teenage daughter, exploring the outdoors, fishing, golf, online gaming, taxidermy (self-teaching) or heading out with my car club mates in the Jimny.
