Project Designer and/or Mechanical Design Engineer for their innovative, friendly and unique team.
You will be responsible for the production and co-ordination of all design information for assigned projects.
Ideally you will:-
· Have “whole of plant” design, drafting and document control experience within a manufacturing or processing environment.
· An NZCE/Diploma or CAD Qualifications with proficiency on modern versions of AutoCAD, also (Solidworks or ProEng) would be nice to have’s but it’s not essential.
· Great verbal and written communication skills;
· Proficiency in writing clear and accurate reports;
· Enthusiasm, self-motivation, a team approach and customer focus;
· A desire to progress your career and take on responsibility within a supportive environment;

- Sourcing materials:
- Researching alternative materials;
- Providing cost analysis;
- Ensure that materials are sourced effectively; AND ordered to the correct specifications.
Other requirements include:-
- Knowledge of supply chain management
- Effective negotiation skills
- Previous and proven purchasing experience
- Well developed organisational skills
- A qualification within either electrical or electronics would be desirable, but not essential.
- Previous international stock control and freight experience will be considered an advantage
